When I workout, I need motivation. This usually happens in the form of music. Sometimes, it isn't enough to simply get up in the morning; you need to feel some type of energy to get your body moving.
Usually I am someone who works out 3 days a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, even though I wasn't always like this. Every time I complete a workout, I need music.
I find that a good song has a way of changing a dull, run-of-the-mill workout into something spectacular. If I am really into a song, I sometimes I forget I am working out at all!
I like to listen to upbeat, motivational music that makes me feel empowered. When you are doing intense cardio or weight-training, you need music that coincides with your heart beat. Usually I try and find new songs, but sometimes it is a struggle to find songs you like that are also good for working out.
Here are a list of songs I have on my Workout playlist:
1. Physical by Dua Lipa
2. Truth Hurts by Lizzo
3. Magenta Riddim by DJ Snake
4. Die For Me by Post Malone, Halsey, Future
5. Why Do You Love Me by Charlotte Lawrence
6. Look At Her Now by Selena Gomez
7. Motivation by Normani
8. Wasabi by Little Mix
9. APESHIT by The Carters
10. POWER by Kanye West
Now, I want to hear from you. What songs do you like to listen to while you're burning off your calories? Is it something upbeat, or is it even a podcast?
Let me know down below and keep working hard!
